Donald Trump’s Second Inauguration
On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump was sworn in as president for the second time. I went to downtown Washington to photograph his supporters celebrating.
The Gaza Solidarity Sukkah
On October 23, 2024, protestors erected a sukkah on American University’s campus in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza strip. These photos accompanied a full-length article that I co-wrote.
Glover Gate Vandalized
On the morning of October 10, 2024, graffiti was found on American University’s Glover Gate, making it read “The Genocide University.” Within an hour of the graffiti’s discovery, the school covered it with canvas. It was removed completely by the end of the day. “Free Palestine” and “Divest Now” were also written nearby.

Arlington House
On October 7th, 2024, I visited Arlington National Cemetery to photograph Arlington House, a 19th century Greek revival mansion that once housed Robert E. Lee and his family. These photos are for a feature article on the movement to rename the site, which was published in AWOL Magazine’s 35th print edition.
The January 6th Heroes Vigil
On October 5th, 2024, I accompanied a writer and editor to visit a nightly vigil held outside a jail in southeast Washington DC. There, protestors gathered to demonstrate in solidarity with fellow supporters of Donald Trump who were incarcerated for their involvement in the attempted insurrection on January 6, 2021.
The writer for this story eventually dropped it because of disagreements with his editors. These photos are currently pending publication.
